About me
Here’s some background information and a list of clients that I’ve worked with
I am a freelance multimedia designer and developer based in London, UK. With a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Design and seven years' industry experience, I specialise in creating excellent multimedia solutions for websites, applications and print.
So, a little about my childhood. I've always been a bit of a geek... At primary school, I'd scour the library for books to code games for my Commodore Vic 20 home computer. When I was eight, my dad told me there was a computer in the family car, so I proceeded to take the glove box apart. I found the computer, but sadly it was not the Nintendo NES console I was hoping for.
Fast-forward a few more years and a few more dismantled belongings, I decided to channel my interest more constructively and enrolled for a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Design at Leicester De Montfort University. Here I could also develop my eye for design, and completed the course with flying colours.
My first job was with a Manchester-based multimedia company. Some colleagues and I established a new venture, Lancashire Digital, where our focus would be the e-learning industry. I was responsible for all design decisions and my creative branding skills came to good use throughout the growth of the company and the many successful projects we undertook.
In 2008, I decided to concentrate on my increasing freelance work and haven't looked back since. Working with both big and small clients,
I continue to enjoy the challenges that come my way.
I'm always on the look-out for the latest advances in multimedia technology and how to incorporate them effectively in my work. As a member of the Apple iPhone Developer Program, I have been hard at work creating new apps for some of my clients, there are several due to launch this year - so watch this space!
