A showcase of writer and editor Helene's work
This website was designed to showcase the work of writer/editor Helene Dancer. Helene had already commissioned a design but felt it didn't meet her requirements so, as she'd been through the process of collating her work, I could hit the ground running.
After talking to Helene about the look she wanted, I started to formulate ideas for the design. I felt it was important to keep the work as the focus, so her stories are big and bold. There are also excerpts from her stories and sample documents for download.
A real skill in bridging the gap between designer and developer is being able to convert a design from static image to a standards-compliant XHTML/CSS layout. I pride myself on being able to do this. Since this site needs to be updated frequently, it's database driven.

As part of the continued success of Futera World Football an iPhone application is in development. Among other features the app will allow users to browse their card collections on their iPhone or iPod Touch.
The app is set for a 2010 launch.
