Midwood Consulting
I was approached by Pagemakers to help in creating the new Midwood Consulting website. Midwood's aim was to set itself apart from its competition, as a financial consultancy with a difference. For this reason, the company wanted a clean, classy and clear design with particular emphasis on smooth motion. The perfect tool to deliver these requirements was Flash.
The design was kept simple, with large black and white photos for each section of the site. Using Flash CS4 and coding in ActionScript 3 (AS3) allowed for striking animation effects such as the blurring effect on the homepage menu and the skewing image effect when moving between sections.
The content of the site is dynamic allowing for easier updates, AMFPHP was utilised for Flash/database communication.
